New guidelines for issue of enterprise registration certificate

This is the highlight of the Official Dispatch No. 234/DKKD-NV providing guidance on the implementation of the Decision No. 27/2018/QD-TTg on the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification of 2018. This document sets out the following regulations:

- With respect to enterprises obtaining enterprise registration certificates before August 20, 2018, they will be allowed to maintain business operations in the industries or sectors that they have registered and will be encouraged to get their business industries or sectors updated in line with the new classification system at their discretion.

- With regard to the enterprise registration application, the notification of the change in the business industry or sector and the request for the change to the enterprise registration certificate which are submitted before August 20, 2018 and have not been approved on the national information system for enterprise registration.

+ After finding that the names and codes of their business industries or sectors already registered in the enterprise registration application are not changed in comparison with those on the new classification system, the Business Registry will issue the enterprise registration according to regulations in force.  

+ Where there is any change compared with the new classification system, the Business Registry will guide its enterprises/affiliates to amend and supplement the enterprise registration application in conformity with the new classification system.
